Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Formfolio is operated by Marty Corp s. r. o., a limited liability company registered in the Slovak Republic (Company ID: 57492778; registered in the Commercial Register of the City Court Bratislava III, Section Sro, Insert No. 197570/B), registered office Vysokoškolákov 8556/33B, 010 08 Žilina, Slovak Republic (“we”, “us”, “our”). 2. The service

Formfolio lets you create invoices and quotes and download them as PDF files. The free tier runs entirely in your browser: the content you type into a document is processed on your device and is not sent to our servers. Optional paid plans add features such as branding removal, premium templates, e-signatures, and cross-device saving.

3. Accounts and sign-in

You can use the free tier without an account. Paid features require signing in with a one-time “magic link” sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that email secure and for activity under your account. You must provide an accurate email address and be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live).

4. Plans, billing and Merchant of Record

The paid plan is Pro, a one-time purchase. All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the Merchant of Record and reseller of the service. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Paddle.com Market Ltd’s buyer terms. Paddle.com Market Ltd handles billing, payment methods, and the calculation and remittance of any applicable taxes (including VAT). We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Prices are shown inclusive of applicable tax and in euros (€). A Pro purchase unlocks Pro features for the lifetime of the account. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

5. Your content and documents

You retain all rights to the information you enter and the documents you generate. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and use of those documents - including amounts, tax rates, and the parties involved. For free-tier documents we never receive this content. For Pro cross-device saving you may choose to store content on our servers - your reusable profile (name, company, bank details) and any invoices or quotes, clients, sender profiles and numbering series you explicitly save, including the line items, amounts, notes, and any logo or signature on a saved document. This is optional and you can delete it at any time; see the Privacy Policy.

6. Not legal, tax, or accounting advice

The templates and documents provided by Formfolio are general-purpose starting points, not legal, tax, or accounting advice. Laws differ by jurisdiction and change over time. You should review any document, and consult a qualified professional where appropriate, before relying on it. We make no guarantee that a template is suitable, complete, or compliant for your specific situation.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading documents;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service;
• resell or redistribute the service except as expressly permitted;
• infringe the intellectual property or rights of others.

8. Intellectual property

The Formfolio software, design, and templates are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service and to use the documents you generate for your own business purposes.

9. Service availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by updating the “last updated” date and, where appropriate, by notice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or reliance on any generated document. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have where you live. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of the Slovak Republic, again without prejudice to your mandatory rights.

13. Consumer disputes (alternative dispute resolution)

If you are a consumer and are unhappy with how we handled a complaint, please first ask us to put it right by emailing support@formfolio.co. If you are still not satisfied, you have the right to turn to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body - in the Slovak Republic, the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia, www.soi.sk). A list of ADR bodies across the European Union is available at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.
